I will use this space to post my own art projects and art education endeavors. I believe it's important to keep exploring and expanding my own art. To that end, I keep a visual journal and take time out to dabble in photography, acrylics, and mixed media.
"Trancending Visions"
This is the piece I did as a response to Kevin Irving's written work. "The Street Where I Used to Live". It was created for collaborative Art and Writing Show at the Tsawwassen Longhouse Gallery, now Gallery 1710. January, 2012
"Queen of Hearts: Caught Between"
This is one panel of a triptych I painted in January. 2011. For the 2011 Collaborative show, Mr. Pike wrote a poem responding to my work
Mixed Media piece, January 2014.
Going on visits to local galleries and interesting places can really be inspiring. I like to check out work at both large museums and smaller private shows. It's a great way to keep up to date on new techniques and trends in the art world. I captured the digital image above while at the Vancouver Gallery.
